Xizangiana sedula (Simon, 1897) comb. n.

Callilepis sedula Simon, 1897: 255 (♀; spelling per p. 252, C. seduba in heading).

Poecilochroa sedula Dalmas, 1921: 326 (transfer from Callilepis).

Poecilochroa sedula Tikader, 1982: 453, figs 359–362 (♀).

Type material. Holotype ♀, INDIA: Dehra Dun. Not examined.

Remarks. Tikader (1982: 453, figs 359–362) showed the same characteristics of Xizangiana for this species, such as abdomen with two white markings anterolaterally, two white markings medially, several chevron-like white stripes posteriorly, and two longitudinal black stripes ventrally. Epigyne has a scape with a distal dent, atrium almost trapezoidal, lateral folds chevron-like, secondary spermathecae small, and primary spermathecae globular-shaped, large. Moreover, the type locality of this species is in Himalaya, same as all known Xizangiana species except X. xiangbi sp. n. (Fig. 23). All these suggest that Poecilochroa sedula (Simon, 1897) should belong to Xizangiana .

Distribution. India (Fig. 23).
