Xizangiana pawani (Gajbe, 1993) comb. n.
Sosticus pawani Gajbe, 1993: 181, figs 1–5 (♀).
Urozelotes pawani Sankaran & Caleb, 2021: 551, figs 52–55, 57–58 (♀, transfer from Sosticus).
Type material. Holotype ♀, INDIA: Himachal Pradesh, Solan, Ragul Kalpa, 15 june 1970, leg. K.K. Mahajan, NZC-ZSI, Kolkata (no register number specified). Not examined.
Remarks. Gajbe (1993: 181, figs 1–5) and Sankaran & Caleb (2021: 551, figs 52–55, 57–58) showed the same characteristics of Xizangiana for this species such as abdomen with two white markings anterolaterally, two white markings medially, several chevron-like, white stripes posteriorly, and two longitudinal black stripes ventrally. Epigyne has a wide scape with a distal dent, atrium almost trapezoidal, transversal folds relatively many, posterior parts of the lateral folds chevron-like, secondary spermathecae small, and primary spermathecae globular-shaped, large. Moreover, the type locality of this species is in Himalaya, same as all known Xizangiana species except X. xiangbi sp. n. (Fig. 23). All these indicate that Urozelotes pawani (Gajbe, 1993) should belong to Xizangiana .
Distribution. India (Fig. 23).
