Key Characters: Outer spur of metatibiae longer than inner one, rather spatulate and transversally cut at apex. Mesosternum is without middle scutum; mesosternal suture not very distinct and rather angulate. Body is often black or red, never metallic. Parameres of aedeagus are elongate, narrow, almost sub-equal and far from the apex; the latter, sub-square and dorsally oblique. Length ranges from: 7-23 mm.
