Siphonoecetes (Orientoecetes) Just, 1983: 124 .

Type species. Siphonoecetes orientalis Walker, 1904 .

Diagnosis. Bubocorophiina with rostrum. Flagellum of antenna 2 article 1 and 2 with several robust setae ventrally (Fig. 3 Eb), article 3 with 2 distal robust setae. Pereopods 5–6 carpus with 1 long and 1 short robust setae (Fig. 3 B 1). Uropod 1, peduncle in male with normal ventroapical corona margin. Inner ramus of uropods l and single ramus of uropod 2 with single large apical robust seta in hollowed apex. Uropod 3 peduncle with a few short setae on medial projection (Fig. 4 G 2).

Component species. Orientoecetes arabicus (Barnard & Thomas, 1984) comb. nov.; O. erythraeus (Ruffo, 1959); O. orientalis (Walker, 1904); O. spinipalpus Just, 2004 .
