Genus Idricerus McLachlan, 1873

Idricerus McLachlan, 1873 a: 240 . Type species: Ascalaphus decrepitus Walker, 1860: 197 . Monotypy.

Diagnosis. Idricerus can be easily distinguished from other genera in the tribe Haplogleniini by the hyaline wing membrane or dark brown to yellowish brown specklings along the crossveins and the apical area beyond Sc+R having two rows of cells. Furthermore, the forewing with anal area has a weakly or distinctly produced triangular projection and the length of tibial spurs in fore- and mid leg is as long as the combined length of Ta1–Ta2.

Note. Idricerus currently includes five described species distributed in the Palearctic and Oriental realms (Zhang et al. 2015; Machado et al. 2019). Two species, I. decrepitus (Walker) and I. sogdianus McLachlan are known from Pakistan. Zhang et al. (2015) provided the distribution of I. decrepitus in Pakistan (unknown location). Herein, we confirm the distribution of I. decrepitus in the northeastern part of Pakistan, Rawalakot valley, Azad Kashmir.
