Genus Shearella Lehtinen, 1981
Diagnosis. Small spiders (TL 1.2–1.3). Six eyes in a compact group placed anteriorly on prosoma of both sexes. Males with cephalic tubercle, normal or only slightly modified leg I and conical but basally wide cheliceral tooth being shorter than in Cuangoblemma Brignoli, 1974, Gunasekara Lehtinen, 1981 and Tetrablemma . Opisthosoma globose, its lateral scuta II–IV exceptionally wide. Male palp with piriform or apple-shaped bulb and embolus with varying length. Epigastric fold laterally narrow, but centrally wide; vulval stem short; inner vulval plate simple (Lehtinen 1981).
