Anaxarcha Stål, 1877

= Anaxandra Kirby, 1904 (er r. des cr.)

= Parastatilia Werner, 1922

Related to Odontomantis, despite its long and slender pronotum (Svenson & Whiting 2009). One of the seven known species occurs with certainty in Borneo. Like related taxa, this genus is arboricolous.

Anaxarcha limbata Giglio-Tos, 1915

= Oligomantis parallela Werner, 1930

Distribution. Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo (Giglio-Tos 1915a, Werner 1930, Beier 1931a, 1937, Ehrmann 2002).

Bornean records. Sarawak: Mt. Dulit (Werner 1930; Beier 1937); Kalimantan: Petak (Werner 1933).

Remarks. Beier (1931a) considered this species to be a synonym of A. graminea; some years later, however, he treated it as valid again (Beier 1937). The 1931 synonymization let Werner (1933) treat his Oligomantis parallela as a synonym of A. graminea . Records of A. graminea south of the Isthmus of Kraa have to be reevaluated.
