Hypothesized placement.

Nannaria "Claytor Lake" specimens are hypothesized to be closely related to N. hokie and belong to the Nannaria castanea clade based on the following combination of gonopod characters: Acropodite distal zone elongated and presence of a small medial flange near the acropodite tip. Nannaria "Claytor Lake" can be separated from other Nannaria castanea clade species based on the following combination of gonopodal characters: Acropodite tip robust and directed medially (Fig. 117A, red triangle), not directed caudally as in other members of the Nannaria castanea clade. Telopodite basal zone with distinct concave depression (Fig. 117B, red arrow), not found in other members of the Nannaria castanea clade.
