Transversotrema sp. A

Specimens of transversotrematids similar to T. licinum were collected from two species of sillaginids: Sillago analis Whitley, Golden –lined Sillago, and Sillago ciliata Cuvier, Sand Sillago, from Moreton Bay. No specimens suitable for morphological examination were obtained, however, molecular analysis of the ITS2 rDNA showed that they were significantly different from T. licinum from Moreton Bay and different from all other species described in this study.
