Habitus Fig. 4. Colour light brown, antennae and legs dusky yellow. Antennomeres 3–11 Fig. 22. Distance across eyes 0.19 mm. Labrum with a scalloped anterior margin, Fig. 30. Mentum widest at anterior margin and sides without a median swelling, Fig. 26. Pronotum 0.26 mm wide, 0.19 mm long, Fig. 19. Elytra 0.40 mm long, 0.35 mm wide. Mesoventrum with two deep fossae close to the collar on the anterior margin, Fig. 12. Lateral points on the metaventral margin between the metacoxae of medium length, triangular. Abdominal ventrites VI and VII with a series of prominent setae, and ventrite VIII with deep incision, Fig. 29. Females unknown.
Etymology. Patronymic, after Dr Petr Baňař, the collector
Diagnosis. The deep fossae in the mesoventrum coupled with the abdominal characteristics of the male will distinguish this species.
Type material. Holotype: ♂, GPS 27, BOL / Nov 2013/06, BOLIVIA, 24.xi.2013, COCHABAMBA dep. Cristal Mayu River valley, ca 20k W of Villa Tunari, sifting litter, ca 720m, Winkler app. extr., P. Baňař lgt.. (UASC). Paratypes: ♂, ♀, same data as holotype (MMBC, BMNH)
