Remarks: Cox 1982, Falahati et al. 2013 a and Daghighi et al. 2013a mentioned this species as Proisotoma schoetti that is considered as a junior synonym of Ballistura schoetti .

General distribution: cosmopolitan (Potapov 2001; Fjellberg 2007).
