Material examined. 1♁ (HOLOTYPE) BRAZIL, Minas Gerais state, Tiradentes, Libélulas da Serra de São Jose State Wildelife Refuge (Chafariz creek at the Mãe D’- Água forest), 11.xi.1996, (-21.1044, -44.1783), L.C. Bede & W. Piper leg., ABMM ; 2♁♁ (PARATYPES) same data, but 1.xi.1999 .

Known distribution. Brazil (states of Minas Gerais and São Paulo).

Diagnosis and remarks. The following character combination distinguishes this species from the remainder of Group A species: upper plate very short, wider than long, roughly triangular, bearing small teeth on its border (Figs. 64d–f); ML apex acute (Fig. 64f).
