Amphibolocypris Rome, 1965
Type species: Amphibolocypris exigua Rome, 1965 (by original designation)
Origin of name: ‘Amphibolos’, from the Greek 'Amphibolein' = ambiguous, as this genus shares characters of both Isocypris and Platycypris, together with 'Cypris'.
Diagnosis (amended from Rome 1965): Carapace elongated, narrow in dorsal view. Third endite of Mx1 with 2 large, smooth Zahnborsten. T2 (walking limb) with dorsal seta on 4th segment long and claw-like. CR without proximal seta.
