Jucancistrocerus (Jucancistrocerus) tachkendensis (Dalla Torre, 1889)
Odynerus ornatus André, 1884: 713, ♀ (type locality: “Tachkend” [Uzbekistan]), junior secondary homonym of Ancistrocerus ornatus Smith, 1852 and Leptochilus ornatus de Saussure, 1853, both placed by Dalla Torre (1889) in Odynerus Latreille (Art. 59.3 of ICZN 1999).

Material examined. KAZAKHSTAN. Almaty Province: Charyn National Park, 18 km SWW Chundzha, 43.5028°N, 79.2134°E, 11.V.2024, 1 ♀, 4 ♂, leg. M. Proshchalykin [CAFK] .
Distribution. Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China (North-West).
Remarks. This species is often spelled as J. “ tachkensis ” (Giordani Soika 1970; van der Vecht & Fischer 1972; Kurzenko 1982; Li et al. 2022; Fateryga et al. 2023c) following Dalla Torre (1894, 1904), while the original spelling by Dalla Torre (1889) is J. tachkendensis, derived from the type locality “Tachkend” [Toshkent] (cf. Gusenleitner 2013). The report of this species for Kazakhstan (Kurzenko 1982) was overlooked by Li et al. (2022).
