Distribution

Afghanistan, Pakistan, N India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Szechwan and Yunnan (China), Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra (Indonesia).

Distribution in Lao PDR (Fig. 25): Louangnamtha Province: Ban Namya (ROM collection).

Taxonomic notes

Morphologically, in size and noseleaf structure, these specimens appear to match R. lepidus, but a detailed taxonomic study has not yet been undertaken to verify that this is the appropriate name for the species.
