Distribution in Lao PDR (Fig. 62): Houaphan Province: Ban Buaphath, Nam Et NBCA; Nam Chong, Nam Et NBCA (EBD collection); Louangphabang Province: Nam Khan (EBD collection).

Taxonomic note

Csorba and Lee (1999) suggested that Thainycteris should be included in the genus Arielulus, an opinion which is followed here.
