N China, Thailand, Lao PDR, Japan.

Distribution in Lao PDR (Fig. 90): Louangphabang Province: Nam Khan (EBD/ROM collections).

Taxonomic note

Evans et al. (2000) published a record of T. teniotis insignis from Ban Lak-20 market, Bolikhamxai Province (capture location unknown). Specimens were not available to be examined as part of this study and as such identification cannot be confirmed. Re-examination is warranted given subsequent taxonomic revisions of Tadarida .
