Fars (Hoberlandt 1959; 1997), Golestan & Sistan & Baluchestan (Hoberlandt 1955), Kerman (Safavi 1959; Modarres Awal 1997), Kuhgiloyeh & Boyerahmad (Hoberlandt 1997), Mazandaran (Hoberlandt 1997), Tehran (Hoberlandt 1997; Linnavuori 2008), West Azarbaijan (Kiritshenko 1938; Nateq Golestan 2004; Nateq Golestan et al. 2004, 2010a, b, c, 2011), Yazd (Hoberlandt 1959, 1997), Iran (no locality cited) (Rider 2006).

General distribution. Turkey, Caucasus (Armenia, Georgia) and Central Asia (Azerbaijan, Iran).

Host plants. On Apiaceae (Linnavuori 2008), Heracleum sp. ( Apiaceae) (Nateq Golestan et al. 2010a), Asteraceae (Nateq Golestan et al. 2011).
