Distribution in Iran. Hamadan, Kordestan, Tehran (Brown 1966), Iran (no locality cited) (Rider 2006).

General distribution. North Africa (Mauritania) (though not cited from Tunisia and Algeria), Israel, Syria, Russia (not cited from Russia by Rider 2006). Also, doubtful in Iran according to Péricart 2010.

Comments. The species L. olcesii Fairmaire (1886) described from Morocco, L. tuberculatum Jakovlev (1874) described from Russia, and L. inaequale Horváth (1911) are considered as valid species by Rider (2006), Gapon (2008) and Aukema et al. (2013) but as synonyms of L. reticulatum by Péricart (2010); we follow the first author's views.
