Diagnosis. Placed in the subgenus Brachyparmenes due to the short propodeal valvula and the T1 not angled basally, it is recognized from the other species of the subgenus by densely punctate body, absence of propodeal carinae, and elongate and weakly convex T1.

Material examined. KENYA: British East Africa, Masongaleni, 3000 ft., 29.III–1.IV.1911, leg. S.A. Neave, 1♀ (MSNVE, paratype) .
