MATERIAL EXAMINED. — Sample F11: AMPG (IV) 2577-2579 (three specimens).

DIMENSIONS. — Maximum height: 1.83 mm

DISTRIBUTION. — Early Miocene. Proto-Mediterranean Sea: Greece (this paper).

REMARKS

The specimens are placed only tentatively in this genus since the protoconch is weathered, and could possibly be of type A2; the columella bears a clearly defined tooth as in Syrnola species (van Aartsen et al. 2000). The overall morphology of the shell is very similar with the Eocene species Syrnola polygyrata (Deshayes, 1861), with the later species having a type A1 protoconch.
