Distribution. C. erinaceus (including C. congolensis Dominique, 1900 and C. kingsleyae Kirby, 1896, considered its synonyms) was previously known from Angola, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon (Bolívar 1890, 1906, Griffini 1908, Sjöstedt 1912).
