Comments.

This species is endemic mainly to Namibe Province, usually occurring near granite outcrops on sandy areas (Conradie et al. 2012; Parrinha et al. 2021). It was only found in the lowland arid plains of Serra da Neve surroundings, in Mopane habitats, but not in the Miombo-dominated areas at higher altitudes.
