Comments.

Three specimens of an unknown species of Rhoptropus were collected in a riparian area during our last expedition in 2022. This lineage is currently being described in a separate paper, and is endemic to the highlands of the inselberg (DP unpubl. data). It has affinities to Rhoptropus montanus Laurent, 1964, another montane endemic from the Huila Plateau in southwestern Angola (Laurent 1964).
