Material examined. Holotype, ♀: BRAZIL, Mato Grosso, Barra do Tapirapé, XII.1960, B. Malkin col. (MZSP).
Diagnosis. FEMALE (Fig. 56). Black. Mandible with five apical teeth (Fig. 57). Clypeus with angulate median lobe. Antennal scrobe not carinate. Frons coriaceous. Vertex slightly convex. Pronotal disc with anterior corner angulate; anterior carina thick; median and lateral carinae absent; posterior margin paralleled by series of small foveae. Scutellar pit rounded. Mesopleuron with subtegular groove narrow; anterior fovea sharply produced posterad; upper fovea rounded; lower fovea with upper margin mostly absent (Fig. 58). MALE unknown.
Distribution. Brazil (Mato Grosso).
