Diagnosis. FEMALE (Fig. 25). Black. Mandible with five apical teeth and two pre-apical (Fig. 26). Clypeus with angulate median lobe. Antennal scrobe carinate, not touching inner margin of eye, missing medially. Frons weakly coriaceous. Vertex convex. Temple with keel produced downward (Fig. 27). Occipital carina high, missing ventrally. Pronotal disc with anterior corner angulate; anterior carina complete, inner margin denticulate; median carina paralleled by shallow depression, touching series of small foveae which follows posterior margin; lateral margin not carinate. Scutellar pit transverse. Mesopleuron with subtegular groove narrowing posterad, lower margin undefined; anterior fovea subquadrate, opened posteriorly; upper fovea elliptical; lower fovea with upper margin absent (Fig. 28). MALE unknown.
Distribution. Brazil (São Paulo,*Rio de Janeiro, *Paraná).
