Tychius argentatus Chevrolat, 1859 group

Remarks. This group is characterized by the wide scales of both the elytral striae and interstriae, and the rostrum in lateral view being distinctly attenuate from antennal insertion to apex (especially in the female). Moreover, the dorsum of the body of the penis is poorly sclerotized.
