Type species: Pachyiulus pygmaeus Attems, 1904 accepted as Hylopachyiulus pygmaeus (Attems, 1904) (by monotypy).

Diagnosis. Small (± 13 mm), depigmented pachyiulinines (Figs 1A, 3A, 4A, 6A, 7A). Head with two frontal setae (Figs 1B, 3B, 4 B–C, 6B, 7B). Mandibles in males not modified. Legs without ventral pads. Promere simple (Fig. 8A, C, E), basal half posteriorly with mesal and lateral lobes, distal half posteriorly with a thin lamellar denticulate ridge. Posterior gonopods (Fig. 8B, D, F) without fovea. Mesomeral process shorter than the rest of the posterior

gonopods. Opisthomeral lamella well-developed, hyaline, and spoon-shaped, with a strongly serrated apical margin and dense setae on the mesal surface. Solenomere delicate, with a short and thin tip.
