Distribution in Iran. Kordestan (Sakenin et al. 2018).

General distribution. European-Siberian or Euro-turanic.

Comments. Determination of this record should be confirmed. Credible records of this species closest to Iran are from the northern Anatolian and the Russian Caucassic regions (Constantin et al. 2011). This species is replaced by D. simile (Brullé, 1832) in the remaining parts of Anatolia and in the Levantine region.
