Types. Holotype ♂: “Минусинск 20. V.24, Филипьев [Minusinsk, 20. V.24, Filipjev]”, gold circle, “ Ac. submaccana Fil. ♂ N. Filipjev det.”, “Holotypus Peronea submaccana Fil. ”, “ ZISP INS _LEP_0001983”, “Praep. micr. SVN 24227 Acleris submaccana (Filipjev, 1962) S. Nedoshivina pr. 2024”.

Paratype: ♂ – “Култукъ, ю.-З. Байкалъ Чекановскiй 14 V 78 [Kultuk, southwest Baikal, Chekanovskiy 14 V 1878]”, “praep. micr. № 3125 | Peronea submaccana Fil. ♂ Байкал [Baikal]”, “Paratypus Peronea submaccana Fil. ” .

Present status. Acleris submaccana (Filipjev, 1962) .

Comments. In Gilligan et al. (2018), the type locality was imprecisely listed as “Siberia”.Another male specimen in the ZISP collection, labeled “Минусинск 20. V.24, Филипьев [Minusinsk, 20. V.24, Filipjev]”, with a gold circle, “praep. micr. № 1404 | Ac. submaccana Fil. ♂ Минус. [Minus.]”, “Paratypus Peronea submaccana Fil. ” should not be treated as a type specimen, despite the gold circle, as it was not mentioned in the original description .
