Bathrips jasminae Ananthakrishnan, 1968: 260 .

Described from India and recorded from Taiwan (Wang 2002), this species is here recorded from mainland China. Females of jasminae cannot be distinguished from those of melanicornis, but males of jasminae have numerous small pore plates on abdominal sternites III–VII, whereas males of melanicornis have a single pore plate on sternite VII.

Specimens examined. CHINA: Shaanxi province: 5 females, 4 males, Yangling, Xi'an, from Ligustrum quihoui (Oleaceae), 10.vii.2012, coll. M. Mirab-balou.
