Genus ARAEOCORYNUS Jekel, 1855

This genus is closely allied to Araecerus, but the upturned lateral prothotacic carina and the broad first fore tarsal segment will readily separate it from Araecerus .

The genus is a small one and its members inhabit the Indo-Malayan and Austro-Malayan subregions.
