Lectotype (Jarvis & Knees in Taxon 37: 475. 1988): Herb. Linn. No. 345.7 (LINN) .

Current name: Athamanta sicula L. ( Apiaceae).

Note: Heath (in Taxon 40: 94. 1991) argued that Jarvis & Knees’ type choice is invalid but this was refuted by Jarvis (l.c. 41: 62-63. 1992).
