Generitype of Apocynum Linnaeus (vide Hitchcock, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 136. 1929).

Current name: Apocynum androsaemifolium L. ( Apocynaceae).

Note: The specific epithet appeared as "fol. androsaemi" in the protologue but is to be corrected to “androsaemifolium” (Art. 23.7, Ex. 18).
