Current name: Ophiuros exaltatus (L.) Kuntze ( Poaceae).

Note: Simon (l.c.) proposed the rejection of the name in his proposal for the conservation of Rottboellia exaltata L. f. However, this was declined by the Committee for Spermatophyta (in Taxon 34: 659. 1985).
