Neotype (Dahlgren in Opera Bot. 4: 213. 1960): Herb. Thunberg " Aspalathus tridentata " (UPS) .

Current name: Aspalathus tridentata L. ( Fabaceae: Faboideae).

Note: Dahlgren designated a Thunberg collection, which was not original material for Linnaeus’ name, as lectotype. However, as there is no extant original material this is accepted as a neotypification (Art. 9.8).
