Colour. ♀ (Figs 35–36). Body black with mandible, tegulae and tarsi ferruginous. Dark yellow to almost orange: band at base of clypeus, sometimes interrupted at middle; mark on front; line on lower lobe of inner orbit of eye up to bottom of ocular sinus; ventral side of scape; band on anterior margin of pronotum; mark on mesepisternum; two marks on scutellum; tegula and parategula; apex of outer face of fore and mid femora; fore and mid tibiae; base of hind tibiae; an apical band on T1; two spots on sides of base and large apical band on T2; thin apical band on T3; apical band, relatively large, on T4; sometimes mark at middle of T6; large apical band on S2. Wing strongly infumated, with violet reflection.
