Antepipona sasidharani Lambert & Narendran 2002: 1, figs 1–5, ♀, holotype, “ INDIA, Tamil Nadu, Coimbatore ” (ZSIC), examined; Lambert 2004: 556 (key).

Diagnosis. Holotype ♀. Clypeus little wider than long (Fig. 79); apical margin of clypeus slightly emarginated, almost straight; front, temples and vertex with deep close punctures (Fig. 78); mesosoma stout, with distinct close punctures (Fig. 81); anterior carina of pronotum present only on lateral sides up to shoulder; median area of anterior face of pronotum smooth, with weak transverse groove (Fig. 80); metanotum with two distinct teeth directed upwards; propodeum with two short horizontal carina at posterior side (Fig. 82); S2 not bulging at base.

Colour. Reddish brown with yellow marking as follows: base of mandible; clypeus; lower half of front; temple; ventral side of scape; major part of pronotum; large area of mesopleuron; scutellum; metanotum; two large patches on sides of propodeum; band on posterior margin of T1; two large basal spots on sides of T2; sinuate band on posterior margins of T2–T4; T5 with an apical mark medially; T6 with broad median mark; small mark on fore and mid coxa; fore and mid femora and tibia completely; apex of hind femur; hind tibia entirely; tegula except at middle brown. Wings hyaline with brown infuscation at apical half of marginal cell.
