Type locality. Denmark, Zealand (“Habitat in Selandia Mus. Dom. de Sehestedt”).

Material examined. S & TL coll. 1 type.

Identity. Acleris laterana (Fabricius) ( Tortricinae, Tortricini) (Stephens 1852).

Remarks. The species was included in Acleris as a variety of A. comparana (Hübner, 1823) (Stephens 1852) . Its real identity was not clarified until a lectotype was designated by Karsholt and Nielsen (1976).
