Type locality. Sweden (“Habitat in Sueciae nemoribus”).

Material examined. None.

Identity. Ancylis laetana (Fabricius) ( Olethreutinae, Enarmoniini) (Meyrick 1895).

Remarks. This is a stable species in the literature, more common under the misspelling “ lactana, “ which was introduced by Fabricius (1787) (e.g., Brown 2005).
