Material studied. China: 2 ♂, 1 ♀, Yunnan Province, Haba Xueshan Mts., 1.3–2.0 km S of HABA, 27°22.1′N, 100°08.2′E, 2830–3000 m, 17.–20.vi.2007, J. Hájek & J. Růžička leg. (NMPC) ; 7 ♂, 9 ♀, Yunnan Province, Shan- zhi env., Jizu Shan Mt., Zhusheng Si monastery, 25°57.7′N 100°23.6′E, 2180 m, 22.–24.vi. 2007, J. Hájek & J. Růžička leg. (NHMB, NMPC, SYSU) .
Collecting circumstances. At the locality Jizu Shan, P. regulae was collected in a small forest stream, ca. 0.5–1.0 m wide, with a layer of decaying leaves on a gravelly bottom (Fig. 19).
Distribution. A species described from northern Vietnam (Brancucci 1991) and subsequently also recorded from northeastern Laos (Brancucci 2004). First record from China (Yunnan) (Fig. 20).
