Episcaphium watanabai Löbl, 2002: 289 . Type locality: China: Sichuan, Ya’an, Xiaoxiang Ling, side valley above Nanya Cun, 11 km south Shimian, 1250 m.

Material­ examined. 10 exx. North Sichuan, Xiao-Zhaizi Nat. Nature Reserve, 4 km NNE of Qingpianxiang, Zhenghecun 32°3’27’’N 103°59’37’’E, 23–26. VI .2017, 1350– 1850 m, leg. O. Konvička (PCOK, MHNG); 1 ex. North Sichuan, Xiao-Zhaizi Nat. Nature Reserve, 7 km W of Qingpianxiang, Xiaozhaizi, 32°1’25’’N 103°56’21’’E, 27. VI .–1.VII.2017, 1560– 1700 m, leg. O. Konvička (PCOK) .

Note. This species was based on specimens from Xiaoxiang Ling in the Province of Sichuan and from Taiwan (Löbl 2002). It has not been reported since its description.
