Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan, Hormozgan, Khuzestan, Tehran, West Azarbaijan (Hoberlandt & Švihla 1990a), Guilan (Linnavuori 2007), Kerman (Hoberlandt & Švihla 1990a; Linnavuori 2012), Khorasan (Hoberlandt & Švihla 1990a; Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1998), Sistan & Baluchestan (Seidenstücker 1957; Wagner 1968).

General distribution. Ponto-Mediterranean from Canary Islands and North Africa to Saudi Arabia and the Sudan.

Comments. On Aristida sp., and Panicum sp. (both Poaceae) (Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1998), Panicum turgidum (Linnavuori 2007) .
