East Azarbaijan (Ghahari et al. 2010c), Fars (Hoberlandt & Švihla 1990a; Kment & Baňař 2010), Ghazvin, Kerman, Kuhgiluyeh & Boyerahmad (Hoberlandt & Švihla 1990a), Ilam, Kordestan (Sakenin et al. 2010; Samin et al. 2011), Khorasan (Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1998), Tehran (Hoberlandt 1959), West Azarbaijan (Sakenin et al. 2010), northern Iran (no locality cited) (Lindberg 1938), southwest Iran (no locality cited) (Josifov 1966), Iran (no locality cited) (Dolling 2006).

General distribution. Mediterranean basin, Transcaucasia.

Note. Many geographic indications by Hoberlandt & Švihla (1990a) are questionable, the material being unlocated in Prague or based on female samples (Kment & Baňař 2010).
