Distribution and habitat. Widespread in Europe, mostly bogs and peatlands (Schmelz & Collado 2010); always in decaying wood (Dózsa-Farkas 2019); Russian Far East (Degtyarev et al. 2020); Korea (Nagy et al. 2020).
Distribution in China. Jilin Province (Shen 2012).
