Distribution: Tropical rainforest of N, C, and SW Sulawesi (Musser, 1987 a).

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: Karyotype has 2n = 30, FN = 50 (Ruedi and Vogel, 1995).
