Vernacular Names: Cameroonian Shrew.

Distribution: W Cameroon, Bamenda Highlands.

Conservation: IUCN – Critically Endangered.

Discussion: Holotype figured by Heim de Balsac and Hutterer (1982:142, fig. 3). New locality reported and karyotype (2n = 58, FN = 66) described by Schlitter et al. (1999).
