Subgenus Apsilochorema Ulmer 1907

Type species: Psilochorema indicum Ulmer 1905

Mey (1999) divided this subgenus into five groups, but the Indian species are included in two groups only:

Apsilochorema (Apsilochorema) indicum Group: Filipods each strongly reduced or long and straight with enlarged tip, reaching apical segment of each inferior appendage.

Apsilochorema (Apsilochorema) moselyellum Group: Filipods each short, not reaching apical segment of each inferior appendage, its tip often enlarged and bearing black spines.
