Genus Aulobia Kethley, 1970

Type species: Syringophilus dendroicae Clark, 1964, by original designation.

Members of this genus occupy quills of secondary and tertiary feathers and are associated with passeriform birds of the families: Cisticolidae, Fringillidae, Macrosphenidae, Nectariniidae, Parulidae, Sylviidae, and Timaliidae .

The Nearctic fauna comprises only two of the 11 described species in this genus, A. cardueli Skoracki et al., 2010 and A. dendroicae (Clark, 1964) .
