Subspecies: Monotypic species.

Distribution: Rare; confined to the wooded mountains in the coastal region (Fig. 73).

Previous records: Qal’at Salah ad-Din, Qal’at Sheizar, Qal’at Al-Marqab, and Banias (Benda et al. 2006).
